Sarah Nayana Filkow is a professional artistic director and performer, widely recognized for her work with the Ancient Rugged Musical Troupe (2004- present). She is a founding member, events producer, and manager of the Hawah Artlab collaboration space, and has performed at numerous festivals both locally and internationally, including the Vancouver Folk Music Festival (main stage) and the Fusion Festival (in Berlin). She has received a grant from Kootenay Cultural Alliance for her directorial and performance work in "Oracle Improv."
