Moss and Sauce Inspired Learning Collective

Chris Ross is a Vancouver-based performer who comes from a background as a professional television and film actor and improv theatre player. In recent years he has branched off to explore characters and narratives in various theatrical mediums, from puppetry and masks to mime and clown. Recently he directed and co-wrote a satirical musical theatre show called the 'Church of Pointless Consumerism' which played to sold out audiences at the Performance Works theatre on Granville Island in December 2007, and 2006. In 2006 he co-founded a theatre company called 'PlayMore Theatre Co.' which has collaborated in producing 'The Trout Lake Mad Tea Party', 'the Valley of the Ashes' and has provided roving, interactive characters and theatrical experiences at various special events and festivals such as the 'In the House Festival', the 'Work Less Party Masquerade Ball', and the 'Commercial Drive Car-Free Festival.' He's currently working on building a stage for puppet shows, experimenting with Playback Theatre techniques, facilitating weekly improv theatre 'PlayDates', and exploring trance masks and shadow puppetry
